There are invitations that arrive with plenty of time to prepare everything down to the smallest detail. And there are others that arrive at the last minute, leaving us with nothing to do but take a deep breath and say: "Let's go!"
My second trip to TVI was like that. Between preparing the pieces, handling the logistics, and balancing everything with the day-to-day at Paprika, I hopped on a train by myself late in the day and arrived in Lisbon with only a few hours to rest. The next morning, there I was, back in that world that still has a certain magic to it.
And, once again, the TVI team surprised me: from the production staff to the presenters, I felt kindness, professionalism, and incredible energy. Even though I arrived tired, I felt right at home.
And this time, we talked about sizes
The theme of the show was fun: giant-sized things. Fruit, objects… and clothes. That’s where Paprika came in.
We brought the same pair of trousers in a size 34 and a 44 to show how the same piece fits completely different bodies. And that was exactly what we wanted to say.
Fashion is not a number
A number on a label does not define a woman, her beauty, or what she can wear.
At Paprika, we work every day so that women of all body types, from XS to 10XL, find clothes in which they feel beautiful, comfortable, and, above all, represented. Fashion shouldn't force anyone to fit into a mold.
One more experience to treasure
I returned home tired, but with a full heart. Because it wasn't just about appearing on television: it was about taking Paprika with me and talking about inclusive fashion to those who might not know us yet.
